    So, took fuel pump back to Britparts this morning - guy behind the counter was VERY efficient! Paid for new fuel pump (refundable if returned pump is found to be faulty). Mechanic is CERTAIN fuel pump fitted in September (from Britparts) is faulty so holding my breath until he fits new fuel...

    Yup! Tried it on my own diagnostics computer but didn’t get any codes. RAC gave us a printout of his codes and mechanics had tried on their computer but no definitive problem

    Fuel pump was replaced few months ago. Think fuses have been checked. Will pass your post to long-suffering hubby (who’s fed up ferrying me around ) and son-in-law. Just want my car back . Love it so much
