James - very careful not to touch the glass will check the Alt - what would cause concern? Last bulb actually blew apart with glass all inside headlight

I keep having to replace headlight bulbs about every 2 to 3 months? I can't believe this is normal? I only use well known makes Osram, Phillips. Any suggestions please apart from not driving at night.

Although TDi pump is a TDi pump is a valid argument. Fits a TDi but pumps the wrong way might not be good. Dan I agree but if you a selling a Defender 300Tdi pump and quoting the right part number surely it will be the right pump for that vehicle? I'm assuming the 300Tdi's were all built to...

Yes I wish I knew! Got one ready to go on Fleabay but the seller is asking which way the pulleys rotate as it's for a clockwise rotation. Surely if it's a standardised number ANR2157 itt's for that engine?
