Discovery 2 engine turning over and not starting ,then when starting cutting out for no reason.
all the indications were pointing toward the fuel pump but the real problem was air getting in to the fuel sytem caused by a worn seal/washer on an injector.
stripped and re seal the injectors...

landrover discovery td5 '04 driving alomg just loseds power and dies
then will turn over but wont start
checked so far :
fuel pump ..ok fuel filters replaced
electronic controls of injectors ok
showing "no fault "on diagnostics
dont know what next ?
any ideas ?

she wont cut out under pressure .
she cuts out when she is idling or moving very slowly.

I have been having starting problems lately but they are sorted now.
now she sometimes cuts out for no reason and then is difficult to start any ideas ??

The "Code " came up after i was driving the car for an hour .
i put in the code and hey presto it worked ....
wierd this machine is !!!!

my radio is showing "Code" i rang the dealer and he gave me the code and i put it in as instructed
got it in first time but the display shows "Wait" i have been waiting hours ???
any ideas ?

Yes its the sensors on the bumpers that alert you if you are getting too close to something when you reverse
the switch /light on the dash allows you to disengage this function when you are towing .this is normally lit when the system is in normal operation now it is off

FOR NO APPARENT REASON THE REVERSING SENSORS HAVE PACKED UP AS WELL AS THE REAR WIPER.ALL OTHER REAR ELECTRICS ARE OK
I HAVE CHECKED FUSES,THE SENSORS AND THE MOTOR AND TO NO AVAIL.ALSO THE REVERSING INDICATOR LIGHT ON THE DASH IS NOT LIGHTING UP

had the rear suspension airbags replaced last week now my reversing sensors are not working any ideas where to start ?

I have a hole in one airbag right side yet the discovery sits down evenly at the back ..surely it should only sit down on one side any advice

this is my second discovery
the first one i had for 6 years 200k miles and not a problem
this is a discovery 2 i have it for 2 years from it has 100k miles and is a pain.
this week fuel regulator gave up followed by a hole in one of the back airbags.
hope this is the end of it
