engine cuts out

I have been having starting problems lately but they are sorted now.
now she sometimes cuts out for no reason and then is difficult to start any ideas ??

Vehicle ? Fuel type ? Age ?

when you say it cuts out and then difficult to restart..would you say it is more likely to cut out under strain,i.e going up hill,,and resarting you have to keep turning it over till she starts,,is there any smoke on start up then,,i had a similar link on here,,if your simptons are similar to this or check my thread out to compare,,if similer then change your intercooler pipes,,,they are known for breaking down inside,,,try that first if your fault is similar,,,

she wont cut out under pressure .
she cuts out when she is idling or moving very slowly.

How did you sort the non starting issue? What was it? Probably related.

A common issue with these is gas in the diesel gallery, at low speed the engine doesn't have much chance of recovery even from a small amount of gas and it will stall.
