OK so after driving through snow on the motorway last night at I got to the services and had to add more wash. I was not looking forward to it. Anyhow, I removed the 'mesh' part from the water pipe where you pour it in and the pipe drunk the screen wash like 18-year-old necks pints on a Friday...

Just an update - the fix I did has so far worked perfectly!

Hi all back with another problem - this one has me somewhat baffled. I am topping up my screen wash - however, when I pour water in it takes a while for the water to go down the pipe - its very much like a partly block sink. (which I suspect is the issue here) I was wondering how I can solve...

i had something similar was the fuel tank cage

@ Nodge68 thank you - followed you advice, never used or even owned a soldering iron but managed to pick one up and do it, will it hold, seems to, will it work, who knows. Have to say putting the bloody door card back on was a pain :) a 1 hour job took me all day and some :)

thank you - I think they came off due to age, I found a guy in the states on YT who soldiers them back on, which is well within my skill set, its just finding the the 'tabs' - where are you based, I am in the north of England

Hi all - I would google this but not sure what to look for. I replaced the rear window regulator - a mission in its self for me! Any how the wires which attach to the window for the heated elements have come away. While I have both plug, I only seem to have one small brass T shape thing which...

I will have to see what I can do - the part I bought was new maybe thats screwed up :( I tired another switch on the off chance it was that. will have a look see if I have an old motor kicking about from other changes in the past see if that works - I actually hate cars at times!

thanks - I just tried the swapping out the switches and as you said - got nothing :( so back back to square one

Hi all I have a TD4 2005 - just had the regulators changed on two windows. ONe went perfectly well the second, the rear right did not. The chap who did them stated the power was getting from switches to the regulator, he said he could hear the relay going too - however, it never moved. He added...

Just sort of following up on this thread linked below. I changed the battery to a new one, which to be fair was needed anyway as there was some leakage. However, while the power returned there is a rapid clicking sound coming from the engine and the car will not start. I seem to have located...

thank you - I have just ordered a battery as when I looked at that the negative was full of corrosion pouring out, like when you leave a battery in a toy or something. After I cleaned it up and put it back it just spat out and now no power at all not even basic lights on dash
