Hello everyone, I have been trying to find and fox the fault in my L-plate discover 1 200tdi for a few days now, and i just can't seem to do it. I have tested for faults in bulbs and circuitry in the dash, and put new bulbs in any that tested abnormal. But still the indicator tell does not...

On the picture i attached it shows the symbols but i dont know what they mean... i also thought it may be 'missing' equipment. Thanks for the warning. Ill do a little more research before waching in some fuses

Hello all, New 200tdi owner here. The thing was in a bit of a state when i got it, switches wired incorrectly etc. So i was wondering if i should be concerned about these missing fuses? Have they simply not been replaced? The others are all fine. Im assuming it wouldnt do any harm to simply put...

SO.. i took the actual needle off, which allowed the pressure in the speedo to release, and i put the needle back to 0... i just hope its 'calibrated' right.. guess ill see when i go through a speed camera! :) now to find a fix for the indicator indicator

Hello all, I just cleaned the dash pannel as i had some lights not working. One of which (the indicator... indicator...) still isnt... i dont know how to find out why either. My next problem is that the speedomiter has gone to the wrong side! So its reading below 0. The speedo cable is new...

Todays work is the dials and buttons on the dash! Tested the lights at the back to rule them out, got some not working. Cleaned the connection points as well. Deep cleaning the buttons, these plastic bits that go infront of the symbol are all discoloured some broken... Any one tried to...

Yea i thought coins, i tried to put a £1 in and it didnt fit. Seems like a bit of a shame. Plectrums is a good idea :) I decided to leave the vinyl, cleaned all switches, took the wing mirror switch apart and now it works! Happy days. Thank you both :)
