Check out a company called autochair. They have a range of hoists that can make it easy to transfer a person from a chair.

Thanks for the replies.
Epicuser. Yes the door lifts a little more than the n/s/f, so I'll look into a replacement hinge as teddywood1 has suggested.
Thanks everyone.

Hi Everyone, As a follow up to the 'noisy drivers door' thread, a couple of members mentioned that their drivers door creaked when accelerating or braking.
Mine creaks for a few days then stops for no discernible reason.
I can go for weeks before it starts again.
My question is, has anyone...

My local LR specialist fitted it for me.
They didn't know about this part but they looked up the number on their system and it was about £53

Part number is YAD000080
The reason I know is that the kind people on here sorted me out a couple of weeks ago.
I bought it on eBay for about £45 inc postage.

I had my local Landy specialist replace my drivers regulator last week.
It was a Bearmach one and it's very quiet and smooth.

Hi Nodge. I've had a look at it but it's for petrol engines.
I'll have a look and see if there's any for diesel.
