thought i would update this request with a couple of findings
this problem is worse when the engines hot , tonight i thought i better limp to the garage for petrol as i was on vapours seems as i was about to run out the landy took off like a rocket go figure

The hiclone gets my vote its physicaly impossible for it to work ! how ever they would work in a series of four fitted into the inlet fanymold the air needs to swirl in the combustion chamber not the air intake hose ! much like a jet engine which is were i think the idea came from !
