Thats what i was hoping for, a different looking disco that i have built myself. I have been giving the disco a good staring at out the window wondering how i would like it to look and a thought just struck me. Is the roof bolted and bonded to the car or is it welded in??

Does anybody know what the width of a hi-cap tub actually is? I believe they are a couple of inches wider than a 110 tub which is 63" wide. The disco rear is 67" wide i think from my dodgy measurements in the dark so i would possibly need to widen the tub by a couple of inches to make things...

I had a similar problem on mine. It sounded like i had a canary under the bonnet. I replaced the bearing in the tensioner (easy job), tried the penny trick, then the misses took it out and the alternator siezed 50 odd miles away from home. So have a look at that. I was not popular that day...

I have been thinking about what to do with my 5 door disco 1 which i have sitting on the drive. I rebuilt the engine a while back but i have not refitted it due to a house move, finding the inner wings really need replacing and it could really do with the gearbox or transfer box looking at as it...

Bulkhead had turned up and it needs a few repairs but nothing like the one thats on it. Unfortunatly the windscreen that came with it was cracked in transit. It would of been handy to have but not important, the frames is ok so that will probably go back on ebay at some point. We have decided to...

Can anybody tell what the lamp holder under the chassis next to the fuel tank on the drivers side is for?? I will try and upload a pic.

Thats what we are inclined to do now. Had a further poke around and found some more rotten bits on the chassis so the the rear tub has to come off to fix properly.
Regards.

Hi guys.
Well we have had the FFR for about a year and have finally decided to do something with it. It needs a new rear crossmember, bulkhead outrigger on the drivers side and a serious repairs to the bulkhead.
We had already bought some repair panels for the bulkhead but a secondhand one was...
