Hi guys.
I wanted to thank the guys on this forum for being a gold mine of information. We are a South African family of four who have been on the road in our TD5 130 for almost three years, circumnavigated and drove through every country in South America then drove up the Central America and...

Been having some clunking from the suspension so have removed the radius arm as the rear bushes looked knackered. Had a really hard time removing the front lower bush bolt. After half an hour of getting nowhere I heated up the bolt with my newly purchased blow torch and off it came. Now to...

Which rims are you running there Spyderman?

SWAMBO wants a word with you...:) Do you know where we can source the 130 rims in the UK? We wanterd to bring in a set of these 6705165BKMO | 16x7 Black Modular but AFAIK they are tubeless rims. 16x7 though so I will be upgrade to a 265/75/R16 when the 750's need replacing.

We are 100% hoping that it is the oil cooler. Have done at ton of research and everything points to the oil cooler. There is no water in the oil and no signs of overheating. We will have to see what happens once we repair the cooler, if there is still oil in the water then we know that the head...

Thanks for the warm welcome! We shipped the Landy from Port Elizabeth in SA to Montevideo in Uruguay. After 6 months of research the process was relatively pain free. We then drove North to Brazil all the way up the coast almost to the Equator (some awesome beach driving and free camping) then...

Which gaskets need to be replaced when repairing the oil cooler? Great write up by the way.
