Lol technical thank you so much

Please can anyone help. Have 2002 tdi5 and horn is constantley on. Have had to disconect battery. It went off whilst parked up outside home. No reason for it to happen all locked up. Thought it was alarm but no its horn. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks everyone xx

Why is it when you start one job it leads to more work. Got new pulley and not hard to replace until you find scew is the fault as has been hellicoiled and is moving tensioner about. Now it's replace all housing so new screw as bite and can be secured. Nothing ever as simple as it seems dreading...

Thank you. Tried to put new tensioner pulley on but found whoever tried before helicoiled it and that's why tensioner moving about so now will have to get whole unit to fix problem. Always something to keep us out of trouble. Get this done and move to sorting boot floor. Thanks everyone

Well replaced pulley and someone before had obviously had a go and helicoiled the thread. Now having to replace it all as they did not do it very well and the tensioner moving about as the thread jiggered. Oh well get this done then move on to next job.

Just going to replace tensioner pulley today then get ready for the boot floor.

Thanks. Do have belt mounts and also think need new arches. Seen people saying bolt, rivet but I'm going to weld. Always worked on front never big area like back but hey think it's just get on with it. Sick of being told there rubbish and scrap. Thanks again x
