    Anyone seen my old landrover?

Hi all, We sold our series 2A a few years back. I notice on DVLA site it's not been taxed since 2014, or MOT'd since 2013. Wondered if it was still around? ENE679D. Gloss black 88 inch 2.25 petrol Picture in my profile of its respray. Thanks

    Bonnet stay mount

Hi all, I have, what i believe to be, a series 3 bonnet stay and wing mount bracket. Having aligned it to my 2A inner wing, it is obvious it is not a straight bolt on. Has any one fitted one on their 2/2A, and if so, any images available so i can get an idea of the best way? Thanks in...

    Series 2 Gearbox Question

Hi Jamesmartin, Thanks for the info, the gear change is not so much of an issue, it is mainly the clicking and the gearstick movement when pressing the clutch pedal - from what i have read tightening this nut should sort it out. Cheers. Neil.

    Series 2 Gearbox Question

Hi all, Since owning my series 2A, there has always been occasions when 2nd gear can be awkward to engage, or when you press the clutch you get a clicking noise as if the gear is not fully engaged. This has not got any worse of recent, but whilst reading this months LRO, there is a workshop...

    Mot today!

Hi all, Finally got round to taking the series 2A for its MOT today. Took the option of doing the welding needed, and see what happens from there. Arrived at the mot station at 10.30am this morning for my 10.45am booking, to be greeted by the manager who told me to "be prepared for a failure...

    Carpet decision

Hi all. Looks like i will carpet the tub as per reads90 - going by the general feedback - the cab will stay as is or a couple of rubber mats in the footwells. Thanks for you thoughts. Neil

    Carpet decision

Thanks for the damp/wet smell advise, but regarding the original question: Wondered if issues would arise due to heat from the engine when fitted in the front cab area? Any thoughts??

    Carpet decision

Not worried about it getting wet - light green lanes are the most it will see and all the holes causing previous leak are filled!

    Carpet decision

Hi all, Time to ask a stupid question! Have been offered some general household carpet and underlay off cuts to fit out my Series 2A 2.25 petrol. Not worried about fitting inside the rear tub, but wondered if issues would arise due to heat from the engine when fitted in the front cab area...

    TD4 Power Issues!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All, Been having a few issues with the freelander. It is a 2002 TD4 which is loosing power on slight inclines, dropping from 70mph down to barely 50mph. I purchased a new air filter, breather filter and inline turbo filter, fitted these and all seemed fine.:) 3 days (200 miles commuting...

    Series 2 finally painted!!!

Looking round for insurance at the moment, we currently have our freelander on one policy and the series on another. I want to have both vehicles on the same policy. Has anyone got or had a policy that will allow this - I have searched around but not getting much joy.

    Series 2 finally painted!!!

The paint job was cheap and has tidied it up nicely. Would like to fit a new chassis over the next couple of years and repaint properly then. Started prepping for the welding on saturday - as usual the "3 small holes" got bigger as the grinder came out! Back on it this sunday with the hope...
