    Rumble Sound whilst driving

Thanks. I will check it out. Seems the Rover forum is quite active. Should that be telling my something about my purchase. I am trying not to fall in love. :brick:

    Rumble Sound whilst driving

I think one problem could be the wheel bearings as there is a low level noise that I hear at any speed. This is at all speeds. The other sound, as I mentioned is a different one. A rumble/vibration at 50 mph that goes away at lesser speed and higher speed, i.e. 60 mph. So perhaps the later sound...

    Rumble in the jungle

I have posted it in the Freelander section and yes, I mean 50 mph I hear the vibe and 60 it goes away.

    Rumble in the jungle

Cracked chassis? Rear Diff mount bushings? Where are the razorblades. I am in Hamilton, Ontario and don't want my beautiful Freelander to change its colour from black to yellow. Keeping my fingers crossed. How big a deal is it to replace the rear diff bushings?

    Rumble Sound whilst driving

Noticed on my first road trip with my 2003 Lifelander that I heard a rumble in the rear end, I think, and a vibration at around 80 mph. Could it hopefully be that I need my tires balanced. Please say that it is. If I accelerated to 100 it would go away. Sounded like I war running over...

Wipers work engine off, wipers no work engine on?

Good question Iceash. Will ponder that and use multimeter to see if there is power to the motor when the engine is running. If not then might have to rig a wire to the engine on power feed. Thanks for the suggestion. Will revert with my findings. Always on the lookout for rain these days. haha

    Rumble in the jungle

Should have mentioned they use KPH here. Slip into the past. Very confusing on how to post in the Freelander section.
