Noticed on my first road trip with my 2003 Lifelander that I heard a rumble in the rear end, I think, and a vibration at around 80 mph. If I accelerated to 100 it would go away. Sounded like I war running over corrugated road surface. Any suggestions?
Hope it is not serious.

Could try sticking to the speed 70mph limit:rolleyes:

Should have mentioned they use KPH here. Slip into the past. Very confusing on how to post in the Freelander section.

Welcome.

So you are saying for us in the UK 50mph & accelerate to 60mph.

That thread title is the same as another in the anything goes section, but the subject is slightly different :D

Hi Jim, Welcome, You want to post this in the Freelander section - could get various responses I'm guessing they'll be along the lines of "cracked chassis" and rear diff mount bushes. Where abouts are you?

Cracked chassis? Rear Diff mount bushings? Where are the razorblades. I am in Hamilton, Ontario and don't want my beautiful Freelander to change its colour from black to yellow. Keeping my fingers crossed. How big a deal is it to replace the rear diff bushings?

I have posted it in the Freelander section and yes, I mean 50 mph I hear the vibe and 60 it goes away.
