  • no not normal sometimes ive used a bit to get all air out ,but last one i did actually had a fault in pump at rear there were i believe 2 piston driven by cam and bearing between cam and pump had gone allowing air leak into block if you get good clean fluid to block from master ,then that is good but air in block if not residual thats hard to remove would mean fault in block maybe sealing ring etc letting air get sucked in on return stroke,the new one was bled by this method and worked fine in few pumps
