What we found when we bled it that the tube going into the gearbox was spinning when tightening up the bleeding nipple, I wonder if they have just not put it back together properly?
Its still paying someone to take everything apart to find out what it is.
So I am looking at £50 for the part +...

seems like its going to be an expensive job, and until somebody looks at it I can't confirm 100% that its the slave, it's just with what i've read and bleeding it which seems to temporarily fix it, means there is air getting in somewhere.
Unless anybody has any other suggestions?

Help would be appreciated

Yeah I looked into it and it was about 5k if I did it all myself with certain companies, I will take your advice and try to build up my no claims or be forever stuck.
Looking forward to get a freelander though as its perfect for what I want and I think they look pretty good

You legend! A range rover after 2 years insurance on a freelander.
With that policy on the co-op I can build up my no claims which is the great part about it, I will have a look around for the smartbox options in my name and see what works out cheapest though.
Maybe theres another option...
