There’s no bit for the vac pipe to attach to but apart from that it looks like the one in your pic. In fact it’s this one here http://www.egr-delete.co.uk/product/land-rover-freelander-td4-egr-removal-kit/

Hi Nodge
Thanks for that, it’s very much appreciated. I shall pop out now and take some pics. I was also surprised at it being a prefacelift on a 54 plate as I have had a previous freelander on a 54 plate which was the facelift model.
Thanks again, I’ll pop out now to take some pics.

Having suffered intermittent issues for a couple of days I have just replaced the fuel pump (was britpart and sh*te). While changing it I noticed the electrical plug to the pump has obviously got warm and melted a bit so I need to replace it. Anyone got any idea where I can get one? I've tried...

Seen & rebuilt much worse than that, just depends on if it has already been bored out or not. You can go +60 thou but +20 will probably sort it

Remove 2 of the bolts holding the top on and fill with oil through one of them. The second one acts as a breather DO NOT REMOVE ALL FOUR BOLTS, doing this may lead to extensive NHS treatment. Relays are damned dangerous things if you don't know what you're doing :D

We used to have one around the farm & I remember it as being pretty damn good off road & a lot more reliable than the Land Rover
