@RRMaximus you have alot of perseverance.
You keep on bleating that you want to lower your RPM but if not fuel economy then why?
If its for engine longevity you do realise that a lower RPM but higher throttle request cause higher cylinder...
I'll be off to get one today hopefully euro.has.one as getting places is a pain at the moment and need to change the oil today ,is that correct though land rover technicians drain it from that pipe instead of undoing sump or rounding plug head ...
On a different forum someone explained the outcome, because they knew someone who did something like this, and they said it was fine, just less acceleration.

I would also question this. having recently put a new britpart alternator on my 200tdi it came complete and ready to fit with the correct pulley already fitted.
