As others have said above, slice the rubber to remove. Pay a local w/screen fitter to put the new one in. I had a go and cracked the screen...

Could be wrong but I'd imagine there's absolutlely no chance LR will honour a warranty on a written off vehicle. Most manufacturers try to wriggle on warranty claims even when a vehicle's not a WO.

I'd have thought the Ford Bronco would be a reasonable vehicle that more of us might have been able to afford, capable too. Pity its not UK available

Been with RAC for years, used them a few times but only ever been any use for a flat battery, otherwise they're crap. Their engineer did help me to push my motorbike once though...:rolleyes: Now with startrescue

Bulkhead looks repairable without too many issues, the chassis looks not so good in my opinion. Remember that there will be more corrosion hidden on top of what you can see...guaranteed, so budget accordingly. I decided a few years ago that these trucks are generally not worth the money people...

Do the same as most Defender owners looking to advertise & sell .......think of a price and double it, then gradually lower to the original price over the following weeks.

Might be my eyes playing tricks on me but the little view you have of the rear plate lower 1st letter doesn't like like an L, more like a T?

Prices of Defender's etc. do appear to have topped off but they are largely still way overpriced in my opinion. Each to their own, I guess if it's what a person wants then they need to pay the going rate. Personally for me if I was after one it would need to be relatively standard trim, engine...
