hi yes the garage will recommend have been great what I'm told is the guy who sold me the car has been driven hot, fine on day i brought it, and basically they have put a camera down the bores and there all scored and scorched! just one of those things live and learn now to decide...

all i know so far till i speak to them tomorrow, is engine has ceased!

Update - will has put me in touch with a specialist, just waiting for the garage to put mine back together and hopefully get it transported over there tomorrow. Thanks again everyone for the help :)

the original garage said we don't know whats happened1 its done there head in and pushed out on to the road for me to move! taking no responsibility! I'm thinking when i know what it is preparing a small county court claim to try and recover some costs as i took it in working went to collect it...

Hi well the garage say that they checked the timing and it hasn't jumped! i advised to check the fuel pump which they say they have checked and its not that as fuel is being pumped through, also they are now saying only 2 cylinders have compression! we have gone from having 4 working at 170...

would a damaged ecu or sync problem show on a diagnostic?

thanks again for all the advice, ill get the garage to check the pump this morning, i know when the AA came the 1st time to me he said id flooded the engine and had to remove the fuel pump fuse to get it started. also the garage its at now tried to start it 2 days later on and they commented...

don't know if it makes a difference but it has an lpg conversion. still on sunday it was running like a dream monday it wouldn't start but a jump from the AA got it going Tuesday - won't start at all, new battery & plugs

thanks for the responses everyone, the original garage kept it alive with a jump pack, it was a new battery fully charged apparently, it was working the day they did the battery change but they blew the fuse in the windows, they kept it in overnight and when they went to start it the next day it...

garage reckon a misfire has caused it, there was no rattling or banging at all car drove sweet until it went into garage for a battery, then it came out with low compression on 4 cylinders and a misfire and no one can get it to start now - stumped! garage have said have looked at all cheap...
