This was all rectified apparently in the last batch of engines which say cos cast on them

Most range rovers have spent most of their life being winched on the back of an AA truck roflol The engine wasn't running then :p

I wouldn't have thought winching any vehicle at winch speed over winch distances would cause any transmission issues engine running or not
