    P38 bits. Garage clear-out.

My P38 has gone to the great scrap yard in the sky, or more likely the flame-filled one deep underground, but its legacy of assorted parts is still junking up my garage. This is the long overdue Spring clean. Happy to negotiate on prices as mostly I want this stuff gone. I'm located in...

    Nanocom Evolution P38 - Motronic & EDC

If you needed one quickly and wanted it 15 to 20% cheaper than new then this is a good buy surely?! Can't see the issue myself.

    P38 V Pirus

The current model Toyota Prius is a good car - I had one as a company vehicle a year or two back and it was excellent. Naff all tax as a company car too which is a bonus - HMRC get enough of my hard earned. Hope all concerned are ok. Unfortunate that the Range Rover driver wasn't able to...

Speed sensor Boost for Sat Nav

My year 2000 era Merc's sat nav had an input from the front wheel to record speed and distance. This was to help the (admittedly old school) sat nav cope if satellite reception was iffy. Could be similar on the P38?

Mine can't fly, sorry for not mentioning this.

    Stereo Issue?

Does the sat nav work? Try disconnecting the sat nav (two big connectors at the back of the unit in the boot) then see if your stereo is working. A faulty nav will affect the stereo.

    one for the gearbox gurus

Surely the vast majority of P38s are autos? While some of these may be tired I'm sure with the knowledge and experience gained from working on your own you'll be able to find a good one, and maybe even an upgrade in terms of specification compared to what you have now?

    this could be costly

Might not be the fuel pump. I had a similar issue with my P38 and it was the crank position sensor.
