It's just the nature of any 4x4 with a good approach angle. I just read the road ahead, predict what will happen and turn the wipers on beforehand.

This is the classic injector loom problem. If you went to a dealer or someone with diagnostic tools it would show an injector fault. I had exactly the same problem and it was the injector loom - £32-£40 to replace and solved the problem completely. On testing the faulty loom with a multimeter...
