Ok so I've discovered I've got an intake leak at the manifold. Its a 1975 2.25 petrol. Now after having the head refurbished I fitted the manifold with the 1 piece gasket. Is this correct or should I have use the 2 individual gaskets on the inlet with nothing on the exhaust? I need to get this...

I've just gone through 2 new fuel pumps both not working. They were Britpart although the seller has said he has more problems with Bearmach ones. I have now fitted an electric pump as I was fed up not having a car to use. Norrie.

I th8nk it's fuel related. It's a new tank and new carb. I did have an issue with water in the fuel. Not sure how it got there but removed the tank and cleaned it out. Had the fuel pick up pipe out along with the fuel line and blew it out with an airline. Norrie .

Well that's it pretty much finished. It's taxed and insured for an agreed value of £10,000. It's taken 7 Months which I don't think is too bad. There is some other jobs still to do like refurbish and fit the rear bench seats but that can get done anytime. Hope you like it. Hope to see...
