Nanocom came up with "Torque Converter" fault. My local expert was saying that it was a gearbox fault and confused things. Obviously with the nanocom diagnostic and your advice it does seem like a torque converter problem. Anything I should be looking for or just a case of fitting a new one?

Yes the oil and filter were changed last year, I was told that the oil looked ok and was not burnt. The problem I have is driving above 60 mph the box seems to refuse to stay in 3rd or 4th, keeps jumping up and down, this also happens any speed above 60mph. Not very good when your doing 70 on...

Thank you for the replies. It's a very debatable subject. I did have the oil changed but still seem to be experiencing a problem. I'm going to research it some more and If I do decide to go ahead I will update with the results.
