Hi guys Been following this as I put a post on about my glow plugs. If the coolant temp sensor is ok at the higher temp range but not at the lower would this cause the glow plug warning light not to come on at all ?

If anyone has experienced this fault did they have it fixed at workshop.What was the outcome. What did they change fix ?

Thanks teddywood1 Fuse 1 in the engine compartment is ok as I get an ignition feed to the relay. The ECM should earth it out so as to let the contacts in relay work. Seems that this is not earthing by the ECM.The glow plug light is operated straight from the ECM. Can't understand why this has...

Hi Guys Ever since Ive had my 2003 td4 my glow plug warning light has come on for a few seconds when ignition switched on and then extinguishes. Now the LED warning light and glow plugs does not come on at all even in cold weather. Had a look at relay and found that I'm getting battery...

Once you disconnected the electrics it brings on the srs light. Only way to put light off is with landrover diagnostic kit. About £35 at an independent.

Hi all To tighten the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt Haynes says torque to 100 nm then angle tighten in three stages, 60,60 and then 30 degrees. Is there a point to this or can I just do 150 degrees ? Some people have said that the tightness of the bolt holds the pulley on and does not need...

Just changed mine on 2003 td4. Bought nuts only to find that they came already on drop link. Mine were Delphi. Could save a couple of quid if you look in box first.

Did you check oil before or after the fault. If before then could be solenoid in gearbox knacked. If after then likely youve taken wrong bolt out to check it.
