So, I ordered a YWB10012L and it appears to be wired differently to the one currently in my Defender - see second photo in my first post.
Are you sure it's the correct one?
Another source has told me that it might be YWB10027L??
Thank you.

I also need the socket that the relay goes into.

Hi. I'm having a similar problem. Did you find the part number please?
-
Any ideas as to why this has happened to my fuel pump relay would be appreciated.
Also, would it have anything to do with why my TD5 is very sluggish up hill until it has really warmed-up?
Does anyone know the relay and relay socket part number, so I can replace it?

So, after all the helpful advice, I decided to replace the single centrally-mounted jet with two double jets, one underneath each of the wipers. Massive improvement. Thanks folks.

It’s cracked so needs replacing with something. Think I’ll purchase the kit and give it a go.

Sorry, one more question: where do the pipes enter the bulkhead? Through the rubber grommets where the two single jets would go, through the hole left by removing the central twin jet or do you drill two new holes?
-
I take it you need to remove the top dash and connect the t-piece splitter to the tube from the washer jet pump?
-
Great idea about the heater hose. Thank you.

Has anyone fitted these or similar https://bit.ly/2uhw3Az ?
Any advice about how easy or difficult they were to fit would be appreciated.
Thank you.
