Checked with Wipac who make the Quadoptic headlamp,and being that I fitted the 2010/2011 version of them they said that these have the tolerances to be used with HID bulbs,but as for the self adjusting and washers then i'm ***ked.

Ok decided to take the projector kit away and got a set of 2011 Wipac Quadoptics lights and h4 High Intensity Discharge bulbs H.I.D with 35w ballasts still 6000k.The bulbs I got have a reflector on bottom so the light points up into the top of the reflector thus points down at the road and...

I will be putting normal h4's for mot but why is it illegal occifer

the angel eye is on in the second picture and the headlight is on in the third.the light given out is the same if not better than standard lights with a beam pattern also.

Xenon projector conversion 6000k bulbs and angel eye.

Bought new wipac's and a projector kit with 6000k bulbs and converted oh and dont forget the angel eye sidelights,see photo's.had to split open the headlights to insert the projectors then resealed.

is it maybe because mine is ex army or is there a way to access the back/wiring side of the switch.

do i really have to do all that to get to a ten bob switch.think i'll just get a new can of wd40 with the straw and try lubricating switch from the pedal side...

Hi I trawled previous posts but could not find anything, but there probably is.Anyway i have an ex army 1989 110 defender and every now and again when I switch the wipers off they stay on, then after a wile they go off there is no pattern to this.I thought it might be a relay but I cant find one...

i have a 3.5 v8 110 defender and want it to sound even better can anyone tell me were i can get a middle section of the exhaust system with a different silencer that makes a great sound but still legal.cheers Gerry
