i've recently had a standard one that wasn't red inside, it was off a td5 so don't know if that makes any difference?

hello can anyone tell me the diameter of a standard salisbury crown wheel , i've bought a heavy duty one and this is about 12 inch, i was always lead to believe a heavy duty version was painted red inside, is this right ? cheers in advance for any info on this

sounds like it might be the spider (immobiliser control unit behind centre dash facia) , you can get a bypass connector to get rid of it for a few quid
