Hi mate,
I reckon it looks a decent motor for the money, the auto's are really good I find with the td4 engine and I now only drive autos so know a thing or two when it comes to automatic cars.
The coolant being low in pic is the only slight concern but you could always see if you can get a...

Thanks.

I know its not a big deal really but seen a few hippos that dont seem to have this problem where as mine has started clouding up it must be something to do with the o rings.

Evening folks,
Just a quick one, I have got annoying issue with my head lights being that they seem to condensate up alot recently and although it is not a major issue it just looks crap and spoils the look of the car.
Anyone else had this problem and is it easy to solve?

Hi guys,
Is it easy to get the timing chain checked for slackness and general condition?
Also what would be the general signs that it was needing replaced?
I don't think I have any issues with mine its just a general querie that I have.
My freelander td4 did a 300 mile round trip...

Not being funny here but you could always buy a cheap runabout for £400-500 in worst case scenario if your engine did indeed fail but if I were you I would just keep using your freelander as you are and just keep it well serviced.
I have a td4 on 106k miles and I have no worries about its long...

Thanks for info on how to do that mate, seems pretty easy.
I took my freelander along to my friends car bodyshop repair unit and he reckons that it needs a lacquer over the actual paint with a matting agent mixed in will give grab handles proper long term protection and the proper finish.
We...
