    hi there, ample threads on clutch master cylinder changeouts, what year/type is your freelander. older models simple case of lifting of the air box to get to the slave cylinder. good luck

    deffo sounds the master clutch slave cylinder. changed mine with same symptoms, no probs since. change the slave bracket as well only 4 bolts and the plastic retaining clips ought to come with the replacement kit. good luck

    cd's????? sooooooo 90's :rolleyes: easiest solution get an fm modulator, fleabay for bugger all or tesco for a few quid, connect it to an mp3 player nae probs othewrwise get the new head unit with usb and or SD slot for easy portable sounds.... dump the disc:D good luck matts

    nice and shiney bit bummed cos i verhauled the rear brakes with no probs. the disc will fit just doesn't have the lip on the inner hole. the pads are also different, hence my reluctance to fit either component. are these for FL2 or TD?

    i get that whining noise on full lock also, think its the power steering pump whether its a problem or not, dunno at the minute its not causing a problem. there are other threads in this forum about this pretty usefull info. matts
