Hi all, Next problem with the disco td5 :o The headlights will turn off when flicking from dipped to main and all sorts of stupidity! We've put it down to the indicator stalk as the exact same thing happened on my transit not so long ago! Now there are 2 types of stalk from what eBay...

Hi all, Been loving the TD5 for the past few months and not had to fix anything on it just of late :D However....... a couple of flickers of the oil light this morning so stopped driving it immediately (I was only 100 yards from home). It is a 2000 disco TD5 so one of the ones affected...

I have a td5 discovery that has had some real issues with temperamental indicators/hazards, lights, immobiliser, door locks, etc... Started off with a few bits and bobs going wrong and has now gradually got worse to the point now I have a flashing odometer showing the clocks and BCU are now out...

My friends hawk eye pro threw up a fault of front n/s wheel hub fooked the other week so finally got round to replacing it today. ..... The issue is now after replacing it, i still have the 3 amigos! Do the faults need clearing on the hawk eye as I thought they self reset on evey ignition...

Thanks James. They're all still on the diff so I will remove and swap as per whatever is on there. My disco 1 stuff was all 24 spline so they'll be ok with the td5. Cheers!

Hi all, I had a front prop snap on the TD5 Sunday and have only just got round to looking at it. I have ordered a new prop and that is all ok but the flange on the diff is destroyed. Just wondering if this flange was the same as what goes on a disco 1 diff as I have 3 or 4 kicking about...

Mine is certainly larger than the old 300 I had. Only sounds a small amount but when you load up with equipment, it really does make the difference from being tight - to actually fitting everything in with room to spare :)
