My friends hawk eye pro threw up a fault of front n/s wheel hub fooked the other week so finally got round to replacing it today.

..... The issue is now after replacing it, i still have the 3 amigos!

Do the faults need clearing on the hawk eye as I thought they self reset on evey ignition off/on cycle??

Also, I spoke to my local main stealer and he said that the aftermarket code readers can give the wrong side sometimes :scratching_chin:  Meaning it could be the o/s but it could also be either of the rears!

Any ideas? ;)

I have a similar issue

Will be going to a LR specialist soon

Fault does not need to be cleared.

Easiest was to diagnose which speed sensor is faulty:
Jack 1 wheel at a time, get in car, select 1st, engage clutch, the wheel that is off the ground will spin and read about 15mph on the dash. Do every wheel, the one that doesn't register speed is faulty!

Guys...assume you're aware of a way to clear this fault manually? (automatics only)

Do as follows and see if it clears.

Switch off engine
Put your foot on the brake
Move gear selector up and down through the range 4 or 5 times (From 1 to P and back again finishing in P)
Restart engine.

See if it works for you.

If the warning lights are not going off, how else are they to be "cleared"? Diagnosing which wheel is at fault is a different thing entirely.

The 3 amigos will not extinguish if the fault is still there regardless of how you attempt to clear the fault.

The OP has replaced a hub & sensor, however this may not be the correct one. What I have suggested above will determine which sensor is faulty. That sensor can then be replaced and the 3 amigos should be no more???
