Is there a vast difference in the quality of them, I've done a bit of research but there don't seem to have been any issues with a particular brand etc, or have I missed something?

That's probably a risk worth taking for me as don't intend going anywhere too extreme dirt wise, and the English weather keeps airborne dust to a minimum, ha ha

Just about to fit new front springs on 110 s/w. Am I right in thinking longer one goes on driver side? I've just realised I have no info on this and can't seem to find it on the website. Any help appreciated.

1990 110 CSW galvanised tub capping. Mine weren't galvanised, not much left of them. If anyone would like to part with some let me know. I'm sure I read somewhere that 88 cappings are same but can't remember for sure, if anyone knows?
