    110 CSW Bodywork

Hi guys, I'm after a little guidance here, we've got a few bits to replace, but I wondered which would be the best order to do them in. New sill rails, c /posts, rear cross member & body capping strips. I was thinking of going for it in that order, also got new windscreen frame to fit too. Any...

    110 distribution board for electrics.

Hi Ian I don't suppose you have a link for the kit you bought? I would probably look to get the kit and set it up, but with just the one battery then later buy the 2 batteries before any additional stuff goes on. There's still much work to do, new rear cross member, new c posts, floors to make...

    110 distribution board for electrics.

Hi all I'm open to any and all advice here for best product / best practice. 'Daisy' is pretty standard at the moment in respect of electrics, however once roadworthy there will be a few additions such as roof lights, rear worklight, and further into the future a winch. I'm thinking I should...

    Wheel spacer quality

Thanks for the responses. I'll consider my options then, & probably have a look to see if there are any decent used ones around, if not I had been looking at the Bulldog hubcentric ones. ☺

    Wheel spacer quality

Is there a vast difference in the quality of them, I've done a bit of research but there don't seem to have been any issues with a particular brand etc, or have I missed something?

    Air box location

That's probably a risk worth taking for me as don't intend going anywhere too extreme dirt wise, and the English weather keeps airborne dust to a minimum, ha ha

    Air box location

Hi Paul I had planned on keeping the 300tdi can for a while at least, just in case. Where are you I Donny? Are you I Doncaster District Landrover club?

    Air box location

Hi everyone. Just fitted 200tdi into 1990 110. I have a 300tdi airbox that came with the engine. Original 19j air box has aa k&n filter in it. Was wondering how detrimental it would be to re use that. Filter us smaller but should breath easier. Air filter outlet to turbo is same size as turbo...

    New flat dog springs

Just about to fit new front springs on 110 s/w. Am I right in thinking longer one goes on driver side? I've just realised I have no info on this and can't seem to find it on the website. Any help appreciated.

    110 TUB CAPPINGS

1990 110 CSW galvanised tub capping. Mine weren't galvanised, not much left of them. If anyone would like to part with some let me know. I'm sure I read somewhere that 88 cappings are same but can't remember for sure, if anyone knows?

    TD5 Disco remap

Thanks for replies, it all makes sense now. Unfortunately I need the car every day so sending ECU away is a non starter. would it be feasible to have a different ECU rechipped or obtain a later ECU? Just trying to think of options here. I will investigate d2boysclub too though.

    TD5 Disco remap

Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this, but........ Why would a garage, who shall remain nameless, who's done lots of work for a custom car friend, , who does all kinds of remapping believe they can remap my disco, but when they try cannot 'communicate with the ECU', despite their...

    Hammerite or Waxoyl?

Ha ha, at the moment it's more cosmetic than structural. We went over it while over the pit for it's mot & it was sound, so I just want to prevent the tin worm from getting hold of it properly.
