P38A ONE LESS P38 IN THE WORLD

That's a shame a few more feet to the right and there would have been one less Audi on the road to. Hateful cars driven by hateful people.

    rip n514bfl

That was my first thought. Could be the work of some yoghurt knitting, fart sniffing, tree hugging, loonies. What about the pollution they have caused from the fire and the disposal of the vehicle, the other thing that riles me about a lot of these eco mentalists is the clapped out beetle vans...

    Side Steps, Opinions required

Good chap for taking them off. I think they look awful. If my RR had them and light grilles on when I bought it they would be the first things off. The only thing I insist on having on all my cars is mudflaps. I think a car looks unfinished without them.

2 aerial sockets on the clarion stereo?

They are not aerial sockets they are RCA outlets for a CD shuttle or AMP.

    fan will not unbolt

Just get a chisel and get on with it!!!!!! Don't fanny about with it either, give it a very sure and hard strike, if you just titivate it the nut will become mauled and rounded and you will struggle, you will not hurt anything. Why do want to get it off? Is it to replace the hub or the water...

    fan will not unbolt

I have undone lots of viscous fans. I used to look after a fleet of Transit vans, the old smiley face ones that had a timing belt, the hammer and chisel worked every time and never damaged the fan, hub or nut. You just need to position it on the edge of the nut and give it a very sharp and hard...

Range Rover Evoque Driver Fly Off Overpass

The car that comes by before and nearly hits the wall looks like a P38.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Grrrrrr your diesel should already have sound deadening under the bonnet.

    do/should p38s have?

You should have at least 8 lights if you include the boot light. 2 x rear 1 x front 2x map in front 2 x front door bottoms and boot. All Rangies had this at least.

    do/should p38s have?

Mine has this little light, that's how I know what this wire is for. I think they are only on the ones with the leather bound centre consol. They do look good at night. If you add up all the interior lights 2x map and 2x normal in the rear 2x map and 1 normal in the front 1 x light in the bottom...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Today I went and saw the nice chaps at Fuel junkie Garage in Dingley to pick up my front axle, whilst there I picked up a Genuine 2 box exhaust for my car and some under bonnet sound deadening from a diesel. What a transformation so much quieter which I think is mostly down to the exhaust as it...

    do/should p38s have?

That plug is for the little footwell light in the rear of the centre consol under the vent's. The posh ones have it.

    streaking wipers!!!!

Are you sure they are streaking and not just lifting of the screen? I had this problem until I fitted blades with wings. A lot of cars used to specify them as fitment. My wife's 45 has them.

    Front axle ball joints.

Thanks for the replies chaps. That tool looks like it would do the job Wammers but it cost more than four new joints. So would be just as cheap to buy new ones, but as I said my axle has new ones on it so I want to get them out in one piece. Do you have any thoughts on the problem as a whole...

    Front axle ball joints.

Hello chaps I'm looking for a bit of advice. I think the front axle has had its chips as there seems to be an awful lot of rumbling, drumming, vibration and bearing noise from the front. I don't think its a drive line problem as (I know you should not do this) but if you slip the car into...
