Spray bottle with water + loads of soap. Really soapy, switch it on and start spraying. Bags can conceal the leak when they fold but the bubbles will show. be systematic -
Thanks romanrob. Sadly the grill wasn't off, although it will be next time I need to adjust it. I did get there in the end with a long screwdriver and prodding various catches until it released. Got there in the end. Thanks for the input. 👍

My two 1998 GEMS have different exhaust system. Green on has the usual dual tail pipe. Blue one has single tail pipe & sounds throatier. The only real physical difference is the section after the centre silencer box. Both are as I bought them.

As RRDT suggested they may have been trying to get a later / earlier sensor to work. Other option is that they had Arnot 3 springs and longer shocks at some stage for greater articulation and had to extend all the sensor wires.

Depends on the battery and the retailer i think. Some sit on the shelf, some are back out the next day. Either way you don't know until you charge it yourself

They never do, may have been sat in the stock room for some time. A 24 hour charge with a 4 amp smart charger is usually needed to bring the battery up to a fully charged state.

Ordered a new cable and connector to solder into the RL side. Will use glue and heatshrink as suggested. The RH side is ok, just needs a clean solder join and glue/heatshrink again. Update one done.

A strange twist of events. Despite 2 modules missing, I reconnected 2 cables that were disconnected from the remaining units and now I have DAB, but no FM. I’m guessing it’s the FM units that have been removed. Either way that’ll do for the minute!
