Very rare to need topping up. Follow the rear brake lines down, especially where they cross over the rear axle. Check for any dampness. If you have stainless steel braided flexis then check the ends for weeping.
Finally got round to changing FIP fuel pressure sensor and top gasket, how it managed to seal buy just tightening I'm not sure. It had gone hard and was quite compressed. Any way new one now fitted
Unfortunately the autel 808 only sees it as an x5... I'm not sure if gap iid is the best for this year model. The later l322s are recognized by the mx808, 2006 onwards.
Damn, that's some mod work you got going on there. Very very few of of us on here do serious mods like your doing and this may be above some of us to answer dude. 🤔
They are the notches yes.
I run the bead all the way along that top edge too so it joins up with the notch on the other side. And go around the coolant ports at the back and front.

I haven't got it yet but i can get one you can have for 10k!! Absolute bargain!! The pictures will be of how i think it should look but because it's a one off, some differences such as colour and condition cannot be guaranteed
Good news, both heads are on and have been torqued down to ARP spec (although that doesn't feel very tight!)
Next step is the exhaust manifolds, I made a start on them but the new gasket slipped between the heat shield and the engine block, so I...
Took her for a little drive. Then kept her well out the way whilst manure was being dropped off for the tatties. After which I renewed the high tech solution for water ingress in rear quarter glass. :)
If the dash is not asking for the EKA code then I doubt it's that. As Brian said, needs a security re-learn, read the code in the EDC and write it to the BECM.
Nanocom is ideal. Needs to be correct one for your model. P38 is not obd2 compliant so lot of diagnostics will translate the codes to nonsense. You are risking turning your vehicle into a 2.5T paperweight messing about with those settings...
