White 110 CSW. Black roof rack held down with green bunny cord. Front near side door replaced with new black one. 300 tdi replacement engine. Dorking area. Absolutely gutted/raging and betting my insurance won't allow me to afford a replacement!!

Thanks for the input guys - the fact that the battery I've got is only 585 Amps may be the problem. Turns the engine over well enough if it's used regularly, but if it tries to turn the engine once and fails, it's stuffed the next time. I'll post any updates on the battery I decide to buy...
