    Extreme4x4

Bought springs and dampers from them. Went there to get springs, they fitted a couple of different pairs for me to try on my 110 so I got the right ones. Couldnt ask more than that. Run by an ex-LR master tech. Good people. Recommended.

    spring help

You could try calling Extreme 4x4 in Dovercourt, Essex and talk to them. Can't remember the bloke's name but I think there's only two of them. They know a lot about LR suspension and sorted me out with some nice softer springs for my 110 hardtop which have made the world of difference...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild (Round 2)

I'm a property professional (not lawyer) and this is fine advice. In my experience Council officers are well used to, er, irrational, residents making complaints and are always very sensible. The Council will not tell you who's complained but you might like to add that you can confirm your...

200tdi Heater core box removal..are you kidding me

Not seen many Landies on the island outside the tour vehicles. Last one was in the car park next to Just Grillin in Holetown opposite the Beach House.

    td5 diagnostics

I'd try the wastegate and MAF as above but if no joy, Chris the service manager at Keith Gott in Alton might not be too far away. He used to work for Autologic or similar and knows his stuff.

    Shocks n springs.

I put softer springs on my 110 hardtop (240lb - 1.75") and found the standard shocks couldn't cope really. Too bouncy. Much better with De Carbons + anti roll bars, though you lose some articulation off road with the ARB.

    Shocks n springs.

For me this job was easy in theory and a bugger in practice. Four of the eight turret studs sheared off (so do get replacements before you start as said above). I had to angle grind off the top front shock nuts and access to the bottom one is awkward esp when trying to grip the body of the...

    Bike Rack

Would strongly recommend Pendle bike racks. Each bike has carriers for the front and back wheel and bikes are separated by a vertical post they lean against. Not cheap but the best I have come across. Usually only sold thru decent bike shops AFAIK.

    6ft 6 - Will i fit in a 90?

I'm 6"4 with long legs and just fit into my Td5. The only real problem was that I couldn't use the intermittent windscreen wipe as my knees stopped me from pushing the stalk down but it works fine after I very carefully bent the stalk up with a pair of molegrips. Still wondering about a...

    TD5 110 on road driving

I've had a 110 TD5 since September and I've been quite surprised how well it hangs on in the corners, but only in the dry. Gets a bit hairy in the wet but that could have something to do with the 7.50 x 16 mud & snow tyres.....

110 van to 5 door county conversion

Why so? Don't know the age of the van the OP's thinking about but the LEZ website says my 2003 110 Td5 van is compliant.

    TD5 Clutch woes

You're about right on the parts, my flywheel was £318.00 inc VAT, plus another £150 for the clutch kit. Do the spigot bush too - £1.87 if not included in the kit. I was charged a day's labour but that included some other odds and sods which was £70 per hour inc tax.

    TD5 Clutch woes

Just had the spigot bush replaced on my 2003 TD5 and changed clutch/dual mass flywheel while it was all apart. Indie dealer Keith Gott in Hants said they had made and trialled a solid flywheel but it was so snatchy they binned it.

03 TD5 No low down power

I'd just like to reply to this to thank you folks for the MAF suggestion and maybe bring it to the attention of others again. The 2003 Td5 I've just bought had exactly the symptoms described by the OP and when I unplugged the MAF, the improvement was dramatic. I put a new one in (£125.00 inc...
