Hi Mandy, thanks for the link.
Sadly not the type I'm looking for, as my arches are a different shape.
Flatdog used to do a flat type of "universal flexi arch extension". They don't seem to do them any more.
I was hoping yours were the same.
Good luck with the sale and thanks for your reply

Hi Icbandit, I'm after the flat type to extend lightweight arches. Don't suppose these are like that? (Link not working for me to see)

Wow DieselDog! I doff my cap as well!
Great skills and a very kind thing to do.
I had stopped coming on LandyZone, but it appears to have become a much nicer place!

Usually straight forward with DVLA. Fill in the section on the V5 with new details, engine number/change of fuel type - and send off. Sometimes they want to see a receipt for new engine.

Just a thought, is your front prop set one or two splines out of phase?

Fabsil- good stuff! My series canvas "drunk" 2.5 liters of the stuff and it now never leaks. The canvas turned a few shades lighter due to no longer retaining any moisture. I don't know the answer to what to re colour it with, but you would obviously need to do it before applying Fabsil. One...

The chassis/ Vin number is the identity of the vehicle. Whatever that number is, is what the vehicle is (unless tampered with). Things get confusing with pre SVA vehicles that were modified before The SVA legislation came into effect in '96 (I think). Before that date, could well be just another...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought back in the days of military series motors, some even had 900x16's on the bonnet!

I carry pretty much everything previously posted plus an axle set of Timken wheel bearings + hub box spanner and full set of spare coolant pipes. Everything is secured in bolted down military boxes.

I put 300tdi mated to lt77 5 speed into my 88" hybrid. The R380 was too long and rear prop would've been too short and prop angles too acute. Lt77 was from 200tdi 90 which has shorter bell housing than disco. I altered engine and gearbox mounts to suit and gearstick is in usual/normal position.
