Thanks folks. Earth is new, fitted a couple of months ago as seemed to be the cause of her temp gauge going straight to red if headlights on and driving !
Fuel filter we changed this weekend.
Started first time this morning and has behaved on my 30mile commute, but I did keep to 55 (sorry M1...

Oh just realised, didn't put in first post that she is now deciding to stall after being revved then taking foot off.

Thick brown cable tightened now, fingers crossed for the commute this morning ! Just hoping she doesn't decide to stall on the M1 !

Well it was a P38 that we needed, we have changed it today and we now have a wonderful Lady landy again who no longer grinds or bangs (sorry chaps !) ;-)

L
Well, as ever, you came up trumps Landyzone users (although we had finally already managed to suss it out ourselves !).
Full marks to GATSO who wins top prize !! ....... Yes, it needed a P38 which we've fitted today and we now have a non-clonking, non-grinding lovely running beautiful Lady...

The spacer was put in when we fitted the lift kit for the suspension.
Looking at other diffs on t'internet desperately trying to identify it so we can get replacement. Really need car back on the road !!

L
Also, is the front diff the same as the rear diff ?
-
L
Hi folks, we have a grinding noise on acceleration which we believe may be due to the rear diff.
Please could you help us to identify which diff we actually have so that we can get a suitable replacement !
We believe that the axle we have is a post 2002, on our 1997 110 if this helps at...

Job done ! Many huge thanks to you lot for advising on the wiring loom to use and giving us the confidence to try it ourselves. We actually timed how long it took us, and after 1 hour 17 mins we had fully working front spots all neatly fitted and wired up ...... this even including me being a...
