just had another diagnostic - this time with omitech - now reading a shuttle valve switch fault - will try that - ?

hi guys - my 99 disco td5 es auto has the abs / tc lights on - a diagnostic reveals a pump relay fault - i have changed the relay ( in underbonnet fusebox) and checked both abs fuses - sadly no improvement - has anyone had this problem and found the answer ?? - regards to all -

thanks for your suggestions - the auto gearbox switch is a common cause especially as the drain for the air conditioner is directly above the switch so it get water dripped onto it on a regular basis, but it doesnt usualy effect so many other circuits. I have not had the starter motor to bits...

shed load of battery -does this mean that the starter is turning but it wont "fire" ?? or is it not even turning over ?? could try on and off with the immobiliser a few times ??

check for air leak on the inlet or even the exhaust manifold area of that bank - if the lambda ( O2 sensor) picks up too much oxygen it will think that its too weak and jack up the fuel on that side- therefore making it too rich ??
