Can anyone help please. We went off roading on Sunday and on the way back the ignition/charging light came on. I thought it would be wet somewhere so sprayed all round the alternator with WD40. I went off roading yesterday in my Disco 1 300 tdi and came back with the battery charge light on. It goes out on tick over but comes on as soon as you rev the engine. I thought it might be water somewhere and have sprayed everything in WD40 but the light is still on. Anyone got any ideas please?
