The original was about that and a zinc alloy thinking it was made of aluminium I had it dipped in a hot caustic and there was a chemical reaction and it started to eat the alloy.

Hi, has anyone fitted a Ashcroft transfer kit on there series and how fiddley is it to do and are the results any good...

Going to fit a pair of freewheeling hubs and I've just replaced the seals and gaskets and in the kit is a felt washer that sits in front of the main hub nut, does anyone know how tight to tighten the hub nut I don't want to bigger up the felt washer.....

I drove 110 mile round trip to pick up a dog guard for me series 2a, £10 of eBay and my overdraft in diesel to fetch it.....
