Coil springs! Why would anyone do that to the car!

My last comment on changing from EAS to fixed suspension. I brought the complete kit from Atlantic/British states side which included shocks and EAS override harness and had it fitted by the local RR dealer here. One of the major problems here for, getting older P38's, is, heat, the EAS rubber...

Petrol Prices To Hit £70 A Tank By Easter !!

Don't get mad Guys, petrol here is about 20p per litre at the pumps, and the Oil Company's (Shell etc) still make a huge profit, so it just shows you how much TAX etc is added on. Try reading the book called '7 Sisters', then you will know who is running the Countries and why you are getting...

Coil springs! Why would anyone do that to the car!

I ftted coil springs with ajustable shocks and an EAS overide cable, handling is great on tarmac even better over sand dunes ( down to 15psi for grip) and better height for wadi bashing. I might think twice about the change from EAS if I was in UK where all the parts are easly available, but...

EAS and cold weather- 4.6 p38

If your P38 is over ten years old, get rid of the EAS, the rubber bags become brittle in cold conditions and cracks will appear, leaking air from them, its warm here:)

    aircon compressor clicking

They just refurbed the clutch bearings/shims, cost me about 60 quid, but the cost of labour here is 'Peanuts' compared to UK

    EAS messing about

If your pocket is full of lolly, then a Range Rover is your folly. I changed my EAS to coil springs and ajustable shocks (Koni), never looked back, ride is great on & off road, my off road is desert dunes and wadi bashing. Len 1998 RR 4.6 HSE
