hi guys my p38 has become somewhat unreliable in the past few days , starts and runs from cold then when warm the engine turns over but doesn’t fire , no spark at plugs checked this with inline test lamps immobiliser is switched of in the becm settings Nothing shows up with faultmate anyone...

i should imagine its reading engine coolant , but it must be wrong , engine stone cold , i wouldnt want to see this if it were hot will have to have another look on the weekend when i have more time , and yes does sound like engine temp sensor has failed

have a look at this guys looking at my inputs with engine cold look at the temp 255 ! now whether that is deg of fahrenheit its wrong surely, anyone else had this ? will have to look at it when warm and see what it says

well i went back out after christmas dinner and connected faultmate and went into becm settings and clicked immoblisation of and on and shut down put key in ignition and it works so all is good never had to do this before as she allways synced up but i guess these cars are all 14 years or older...

no not tried that i thought that was for emergency access , i can lock and unlock with key start and drive fine just no remote locking and unlocking
