Hi All, 03 plate td5 discovery still on air and ace. Ive replaced the rear hockey stick bushes with polybushes over the weekend now have a knocking when turning and over the bumps. All bolts are tight ,first time using polybushes can't see anything wrong under it. Any ideas ?? Watts Linkage ? or...

Have a chat with a local machine shop about getting the valve block machined to take 3/8 thread then you can have hydraulic hoses made. A bloke on eBay was selling valve blocks with hoses already done but its not cheap.

I replaced my rear ace pipes with hydraulic hoses made up by a local company. 14mm banjo one end 1.2m of hoses rated to 330 bar then a 3/8 compression fitting the other end. I cut the steel pipe at the valve block leaving enough pipe to get the compression fitting on. been like it for two years...

Hi everyone time for an update, Ive manage to get myself a nice D2 Td5 03 plate ES model with mint bodywork and interior. Its got a few little jobs to do but I'm well please with it and will post some pictures when I've take them.

I'm looking at 2.7 tdv6 possible manual most are around 150k up to 190k milage

I was under the impression that it was 3.0L that snapped the crankshafts

I'm hgv mechanic by trade so no probs with working on them and have a ramp and diagnostic gear i can use was just looking for the pitfalls and its good to know that there is some knowledge on here.
