Hi, Apologies as this may be a stupid question but I've got new springs on the way from GB springs. While taking the old ones off I noticed the spring plate which the shock attaches too is pretty rusty. Dont really want to throw them on them on with the new springs and can find a set of 4...

I think I've come to the conclusion it's staying on but I'll spray over it. I've not got a compressor at the moment for spraying unfortunately. Has anyone ever used one of them eletric spray guns?

First time I've done anything like that so wanted it to be right but feel it's backfired. Would just be good to get it mostly off to start a fresh without damaging the galv. The etch primer made a really tidy job tho. Just a pitty about the top coat. Haha good shout with the gutter paint!
