Hello there guys. I have a P38 2.5TDi and the issue is after starting it and warming up the engine. When I drive a bit of a distance that gets the engine optimum and I switch the engine off.....the car won't start unless I leave it to cool down or I push start it. What could be need of attention?

Yes both the connections are done including selinoid.

I suspect I may have compromised that. So what would you suggest as a plausible solution?

The pump was leaking from one of screws on the top of the pump and then the second mating face from the top of the pump. Then it presented a leak on the head of the pump....I know, you must be thinking that's a lot of leaks right. Now there are no more leaks, just the idle and rev problem

I own a P38 Range Rover manual Diesel 95 model. I had been struggling with a leaking injector pump and it removed for service and had put back in and after running the car a couple of weeks it started leaking again. This time around I took the pump out myself and took it in to sort the leak out...
